Bought mine last year, didn't ...

Bought mine last year, didn't realize it was a "consumer series" or else I may not have bought it. Usually the standard, consumer, average model of anything I buy, last about a month before it's broke. Well, I'm glad I never saw the branding description we're on the second year now & it's a dream, two men knowing what to do can split about a rick of wood per hour with this thing. That's Arkansas oaks knotted up and crooked, I dunno what kinda wood is in some of these videos showing the wood snapping in half like an apple, sure would like try & split some of that wood. the Brave will power through most knots sometime you have to give it second chance though otherwise it rarely even loads up.

I'd like to see a detent on the valves, it would be really nice but I guess product liability won't allow it. Make for a good project of my own. This splitter is splitting wood for 3 families right now, I highly recommend it over most any others that cost twice as much..

It is a little cold natured, which is kinda odd for a Honda but it's getting better as it breaking in now

Great idea with the dual actio...

Great idea with the dual action splitting feature. I love mine so far and cant believe how much of a time saver it is being able to split on both strokes. Was skeptical at first but works good so far. The beam is also a nice work height.
